TES Environmental were called in when a huge amount of asbestos was found below ground in the steam culverts which halted the enabling works. We were called in to risk assess and plan the remediation of the culverts so that they could be removed. On assessment, they were found to be contaminated with huge quantities of asbestos as well as heavy fuel oil and toxic gases. When the work began, we also had to deal with a huge water leak which submerged all of the culverts as well as spreading heavy fuel oil to all areas. TES completed the work on time and within budget to enable the super structure to begin.
